Yesterday I went with my brother to KTLA studios where he was interviewed about his diabetes, well, and also about his 10 Olympic medals in swimming!  Gary Hall Jr. devotes his time and energy to education about diabetes care and research to find a cure.  I wanted to tag along to see the behind the scenes at the news studio. We were waiting in the not so glam waiting area while Gary got a dot of make-up and miked up. Gary went on the morning news show, in between Gadhafi’s severed head and Emilio Estevez plugging his new movie, The Way (which I have already seen and loved btw). So the studio experience turned out to be quite a range of emotions! We’ll be doing the KTLA Walk to Cure Diabetes on November 5th. If you’re in LA, come out and walk with us!
